​Seventeen months after dual quad reattachment surgery, I still walk with difficulty and struggle with stairs and uneven ground. Progress has been painful and slow, even with physical therapy three days a week by some excellent providers of care. As a 73-year-old male, I struggle to gain strength and recover from the heavy workouts. 

 

Not satisfied with my progress, my primary care physician recommended I try Wave Wellness PEMF Therapy as a supplement to my exhausting regimen. After my first session, I immediately noticed I was more relaxed than usual, and I slept all night without getting up for the first time in years. I did three sessions per week for two weeks. Two weeks later (6/28/24), I was scheduled for a PT evaluation by my DPT a the Gait Center in Richmond. After examination, I was discharged from their care with the comment, "I have rarely seen anyone with so little inflammation in their body." 

 

I still have a long way to go, but I am confident in my ability to progress at a better pace due to my lack of inflammation and the fact that I still sleep very well. I intend to continue my treatments during my recovery and likely beyond.
